Heybro: symptoms left side (not operated) came back last night with pinky and ringfinger tingling. I guess i will have to do surgery there too, but this was clear from the start.
OK Great. I don't want you to have to have surgery again but it means surgery worked if your left side is still bothering you.

I AM SO EXCITED YOU ARE PAIN FREE ON THE RIGHT! Please keep us posted!

Smile Update 16 days post Op

Wednesday this week I had an appointment with my surgeon. He is very pleased. I am painfree and do no longer take any pain medication. I can also now move my arm but of course am not allowed to lift heavy objects. The scar looks nice and it should not bee too visible in the future. PT to keep the scar tissue soft starting 6 weeks after surgery. However, no strenghtening yet. Just let every thing heal first. To all those who have venous and/or arterial TOS. Do not wait too long to have surgery. I think it is better to get it done fairly fast in order to heal faster. Just for info, I had TOS a bit over a year with symptoms getting really bad starting January 2013. I saw 10 different doctors and the 10th finally figured out what I have....

Ulnar nerve: my surgeon said it can take up to 2 year for this nerve to completely recover. Right now, I still have some tingling at night but not as much as before the surgery.

Greetings from Switzerland!

Hello! Am now 8 weeks post surgery. As predicted by my surgeon, I have some of the symptoms coming back. Mostly tingling and sensation of pin needles in my hand. However, I have no neck pain or chest pain and so on. I will have pt starting friday for scar massage, fango packs etc. for softening of scar tissue. Does anybody have advice what I can do on my own to help get rid of sx? Left side: heavy arm and tingling sx are back but less severe than pre op right side. Will wait and see how right side develops. 1st rib removal left side in December earliest.

Anybody got news from Heybro?

Ill let you know if I hear from him. I've been trying not to worry all day. I hope he has an easier first night than I did.

Didn't mean to be too curious. Just read a lot of Posts of Heybro and I hope he will have/had a successful surgery. I know this is a very tough decision to make and to go through.

Early results from his surgery are very positive!
