Thank you for the responses and details regarding your surgeries, outcomes and protocols from Dr. Thompson (and others!) It has been determined that I'm going to go back to AZ to have my right side done, the docs here decided that my situation couldn't wait to be "eval'd" by a whole new surgeon (Dr. Thompson) and then wait for surgery in St. Louis. So, I'm sorry if I wasted anyones time by asking about Dr. T.

However, if in the future something goes wrong, then because of my location, I very very likely will be seeing Dr. Thompson (only 7 hours away.) I live in Nebraska now.

Anyway, thank you for your input, Dr. T is certainly on my "radar" for a future surgeon while I'm up here in the Midwest.
