Icing on the fruit- good....Icing on the cinnamon rolls- even BETTER! Although the way things are going for me lately, weight wise, I might as well take several of those cinnamon rolls and just apply them directly to each b&*# "cheek".....

Try this dip for fruit.

1 carton sour cream, 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 2 tablespoons Marsala. Yummy, yummy, yummy!

It's so windy down here today. Playing havoc with my hayfever. Goes well with the head pressure from TOS!!! Panadeine forte here I come.

Hi its cndyj checking in . Its been awhile snce ive been able to get here and right now its 3 am lol, so I'll make it short tonight and hopefully be back tomorrow. Almost 4 months postop still having alot of pain, but all of my health troubles are flared badly so its hard to say wat's causing what lol. Its been a very busy time since I was here last. My daughter in law went into premature labour several tmes with our 1st grandchild, so i spent the beat part of a month at hospital with her. On april 17th our beautiful granddaughter was born 3 weeks early but healthy, gorgeous and with a ton of dark hair with blond highlights!! People keep asking if we had her hair dyed!!!! It looks like it was professionally done and none of the doctors or nurses have ever seen anything like it before! They are living with us untl their apartment is ready so needless to say between cuddling the baby and all the extra housework, it's no wonder my body is rebelling. She has been our 1 bright spot, because she is the only good thing we have had in so long. Problem after problem after problem, it has us all utterly exhausted. I can usually stay pretty upbeat even when things are bad, but im having a really rough time trying to keep my chin up. I wont go into all the problems now, but I would really appreciate it if a few of you could keep my famly in your prayers. We are having a very tough time in our family, with some major issues and we need all the prayers we can get. There I've got myself crying again lol. It is 3:05 am so I guess I better try to get a little sleep. Thanks for listening, and just know that even though i havent ben here much, you all have been in my prayers, take care all, cindy

Hi Cindy,
I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

As the mom (and now grandmother) things fall on us whether we feel up to handling them or now.

I have struggled to get myself to bed and try to get a good nights rest myself.
I know you are trying your best with your problems.

As mother's though we need to be given a gentle reminder to take care of outselves first. Try to eat right, get as much sleep as you can. The studies are really showing how important sleep is in healing.

Try to not look to far into the future and just take one day at a time. I have to remind myself of this everyday or things can just get toooooo overwhelming.

Thank you all for your warm words and prayers. I am taking it one day at a time for the most part lol. I find the worst time is the middle of the night when you are exhausted and cant sleep. That is when your mind lets it all come crashing in. I pray alot and it ususally makes me cry lol, but it helps tremendously. I know better days are ahead, so I'll keep putting one foot in front of the other . At least our new little granddaughter makes me smile every single day!! My oldest son, who is the baby's father is going through some very major health troubles, so that is very hard on top of everything else. But God doesn't put us through things He PULLS us through things!! So I know I can trust Him to pull us all through this and into better times. God bless you all ,(((hugs))) cindy
