hi this is my history......

hi everyone...im still new to this forum..ok lets come to the point.,for past 4 months ive been having left arm.shoulder, and hand pain together with numbness in half of fourth n fifth finger..so i went to a orthopaedic surgeon n he said im having cubital tunnel syndrome..so they did a ulnar neve submuscular transposition..but after the op the symptoms became worse..so they reffered me to refer me to a hand and microsurgeon.he did all the clinical test for tos n showed a positive sign for tos...my radial pulse disappeared with hand elevated n all the other test also showed positive sign for a neurogenic tos...so the dr did mri,emg and ncs..the mri,emg was normal..butemg showed slight difference..so the dr asked me to do some pt and some anti inflammatory..but the symptoms seem to get worse so the dr decided to perform scelenotomy nfirst rib ressection..so my question is has aynone here had the same prob with a normal mri,ncs and had undergne a surgery..?hope u'll can help me...im in lots n lots n lots of pain..plssss hep me...

Sorry you had to have the ulnar surgery and then find out that it wasn't the only problem..
Could have been a double crush syndrome - TOS = cubital...

Tests often come back normal w/TOS.

How long was the PT for?
1 set of sessions (4-6 wks?) usually isn't enough to make much difference..but it won't help & can make you worse if they are doing the wrong types of PT..

How long have you had sx of TOS?
Any thought on what may have caused it for you?

ct scan in the tos region? where are you located?
there is no test to show you have tos or not. at the end of the day, everyone who has the surgery will not know for sure if you had it or not until up to a year after. i would go to a few expert tos doctors because their experience at putting puzzle pieces together is more reliable than a test.
