What would you do if your doctor prescribed you Edgelow, but the company that you were sent to buy it from only takes Worker's Comp and you are NOT worker's comp? I called my insurance today because I know that this is medical equipment and should be covered. However, the insurance will only pay if I buy from their approved medical equipment vendors. I looked up a few online, but the ones I looked at don't seem to sell it. The insurance company says I can call each one individually and find out, like I have tons of time to do this. What does a person do in that case? Because that is a lot of money to ask someone to pay out of pocket...especially when you're already going broke from TOS

I don't know that you really need to buy all of that stuff.
Edgelow hasn't been mentioned much the last few years and not much info online either..anymore.. since he retired..
What kind of prices are you finding for the kit now?

I can't remember what all is in the kit..
but what I recall-
a ball on a stick - can be rigged up pretty easily or other things can be used to move the top rib.

diaphragmatic breathing - you tube videos

oxygen finger tester or tempo gauge - IMO not a necessity

you can do a search back a few years (2006 -08) or so here to find more edgelow threads/posts - you may have to change your settings to search back that far. Oh a google search shows posts about it in 2012.
