I'm having TOS surgery in March, which will put me out of work for 3 months. I would like to see if I can have a knee surgery during this time that I've been needing to have so I can combine the time off work. The knee surgery isn't important as the TOS so it can wait. Do you think it would be too much to do that so close together? I'm thinking crutches might be an issue for a few days and of course PT for the knee on top of PT for TOS surgery. Thoughts?

I wouldn't do it.
Muscle imbalance seems to be one of the root causes of TOS. If you have a knee surgery, you could start overcompensating on one side of your body and trigger a chain reaction. Don't mess around. Keep the variables constant and get over TOS. |
