I didn't have a cervical rib so for me it would have been harder to accept the surgeries without trying PT first and all the rest. But I never knew my arteries and veins were so bad, they told me I had neurogenic issues. UGh!

Default C5-6 issues

This issue for me has been the biggest in terms of a diagnosis.

I have C5-6 disc bulge, narrowed foramen and osteophytes(bone spurs) which press on nerves. This was what I thought for the first year. HOWEVER, if your pinky and ring finger is goes numb instead of thumb and forefinger then a TOS diagnosis is more likely.

I have pursued the disc diagnosis with pt, chiro, and an epidural to see if it helps and it hasn't which has further ruled out the disc issue for me. If it was I would do surgery for that today. It is called DOUBLE CRUSH SYNDROME and it seems like many people here have both diagnosis. I feel like there must be a relationship in some way.

Most everyone has disc bulges etc.at a certain age without any symptoms. Also TOS has many other symptoms that Disc bulges/herniations alone dont. i.e. scalpular pain, muscle spasms in Traps, etc,Rib pain etc.

VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!
