As most of you know I just had a rib resection just about 4 weeks ago. Most of my pain since has been in my elbow, forearm, and wrist; at night sharp pain shooting down from my elbow to my wrist. (So bad it takes your breath away)
This last weekend was my first time going out and being busy all the time. I had two dr's appointments on Tuesday and because I can't drive I had to go stay with my parents all weekend. I have had some days of depression while stuck at home since the surgery. My parents thought it was time I got out of the house and pushed me to do a lot while with them. I also was in the car a lot yesterday too. Today, I am having horrible pain in my wrist. I want to press really hart on my wrist/Palm to make it feel better. The tip of my ring finger is also almost completely numb and it seems to be spreading down. Has anyone else had these symptoms? |

It sounds completely normal to me considering it's only been 4 weeks. Like I said, it's been 5 months since my second surgery and I'm still having issues when I push things. It's just a long recovery.
