It's long road, not only day by day, but hour to hour. It's been so great having my friends on Facebook and the support we give each other.

But if the old time friends that still read and post, I think of you all so often. I just turned 60, the lumbar is officially worse then the TOS symptoms. I work part time, but mostly as a consultant.
I tried being an Uber driver, limo driver and luggage delivery from the airport, but lasted one shift. I also do site visits to homes banks are considering for mortgages to photograph and report on the condition, neighborhood, and send the pictures with a report.

It started at $40 a piece, then dropped to $10, that is not worth the gas I put in the car. Security work is available, TOS friendly if it is a watch person position, not a walking rounds type. The pay is generally $10 an hour, but it is steady income. I've referred those jobs now to my husband who just turned 65.

Social security after medical is taken out is not enough to live on, so I manage with consulting work, but that is not steady. I fear trying to increase marketing my PI business that I will be overwhelmed. I liked doing the process service, reconstructing accidents, and finding genealogy roots for families.

I volunteer as a CASA advocate for kids in the foster care system, I get the tough cases, which then limits the amount of hours I am up to doing paying work.

So, there are jobs, depends on your resources, education and physical limits. I have a TOS friend that teaches, another works at a homeless shelter, one has her own business, a few are in realestate and do well, I knew a travel agent but she is on a family leave currently.

Those that had to retrain; a vet assistant, trainer, production line, paramedic, dental hygienist, and yard care.
That is just some thoughts about work,
It depends on what your symptoms are and how you can manage them.
