Hanson's Isaac Hanson Has Surgery to Remove Blood Clot
Isaac Hanson of pop group Hanson suffered a blood clot in his right arm due to venous thoracic outlet syndrome, a condition which blocks blood flow from his arm to his heart.

Hanson underwent surgery on Thursday to remove the blood clot. He had a previous blood clot removed four years ago.

Dr. Brad Grimsley, who performed the surgery, said Hanson will need to have a rib removed in the next few months to help open his vein and prevent another clot. He will remain on blood thinners in the meantime.
