Default Swelling in collar bone area

Several months ago I developed a swelling in this area. This happened in my "good" shoulder and I was concerned. Had a cat scan on the lump and turned out to be a fatty cyst. It's about the size of half an orange and is still there. Don't assume anything.

Default swelling

Beth,

Before I had my surgery, I would have that swelling in that same area.

It would seem much worse at night when my pain was the worse.

The Vascular surgeon that did my surgery may a comment on it while examining me. The comment seemed to say that it was just another symptom pointing to TOS.

Since my surgery, I have no problems with swelling.

Peggy

I have an appointment with my neurologist on Thursday and I am going to mention the swelling. I'm sure you all know about forgeting questions while you are there and don't think of them until you are home. I will try to write this one down. I also have an appointment with Dr. Togut in two weeks.

Thanks for bringing this thread up. I have wondered about the swelling. Linda

it's the entire area from the shoulder to the elbow. I've noticed my fingers swell occasionally but not always when my upper arm is swollen. I also have the worse ache/cramp in the muscle when it's swollen like this.
