Does anyone have any experience with using a Voice Recognition program with Excel? I'm trying to get back to work and that's the program(besides Outlook and an IM client) that I use most in my work.

I also saw a one-handed keyboard a while back that I'm thinking about. I'm just trying to let my post-op left side heal as much as possible before putting any strain at all on it. My boss is willing to explore lots of options, he understands how long it takes to recover from a major flare so he doesn't want that happening any more than I do. On either side, my post-op left side or my pre-op right side(or hopefully no operation at all).

Has anyone used a one handed keyboard?

For point/click devices. I've always been a big fan of the Kensington Trackball(the big one) or a laptop touchpad. I haven't used a mouse since I was originally injured in 1993. I'm trying to get away from the notebook keyboard now so exploring what I can use.

i tried using dragon with excel and found it very frustrating. if you just need to enter number, it's ok, put it in numbers mode and dictate, use your hand to select the cells.


i needed to do a lot of formula writing and programming with my spreadsheets, and it didn't work very well...
