Hi,

When i first developed symptoms (severe dull pain in the shoulder blade, radiating on and off down my arm). I went to see a PT which i paid for privately, i had a very large sold lump of muscle on my right scalene muscles and one further down on my right shoulder blade - she decided to release it by using acupuncture (simply massaging it wasnt helping!).

It took approx 4 months for her to completely get rid of the badly knotted muscles and fingers crossed they havent fully come back (this was well over 3 years ago now). I also have regular massages every 2 weeks as a prevention - i dont think i would be any use at all without them!

ps - the acupuncture did pinch a bit and was fairly sore afterwards so resting is a must!
