IMS Internal Muscular Stimulation. That is what we call it here. The needles are a lot like accupuncture needles, but a little bigger. She inserts them and then applies a light electrical current to release the muscle. It can be quite effective.
I have a friend that has this done. He says that he finds it intensley painful for the first day, then he gets 3-5 days of relief. I haven't tried it yet, but I think I am going to. Trix |
