Just saying a hi! As Mark said recently, the weather in the NE is great. We have a week of 70-75 and sunny. Can't complain about that.

I will not go into all my horrible complaints, just hoping everyone is enjoying some beautiful pain free days! Linda

Victoria, I am sorry your weather is so cold. We have been lucky. I am going to take the kids pumpkin picking today since they are off of school. I want to get it out of the way before our weather turns. Hope everyone has a great day. Linda

Default Good Morning..I'm back from my trip

Good Morning everyone !

Olecyn how are you feeling ?
Mark, what's going there MF ??
Shelley, How is the Shoulder ??
Linjane , hope you are well
Gibbrn... How are you ????? Please keep the snow out that way for a little while , O.K. ???? How's the Art coming along ??
And everyone else.. HI !

I got back from my 10 day trip to PA last week and it has taken me this long to recover !!! Boy, I'll tell ya, it's nice to see my family ( father's side) but for not being there for 5 years, it really has changed !! The trip itself was great ! My Uncle had a Soup Feed ( This year was Homemade Vegatable cooked on an open fire !) for my whole family and friends and the total count was 125 !!

I had a great day. Some of my Uncles didn't even recognize me !!!! It was great seeing everyone, but I pushed my body way too much !! I ended up getting sick last Sat. night at my Aunt's house and I was to fly out of Baltimore Sunday afternoon... I made it but when I got home to Mass. I was even more sick ! I wasn't like sick, sick but I had a head cold and my right foot was in spasm for a bit. The left shoulder is in relapse ( How do ya like that one Shelley !) so now I have to go back to Therapy for the Shoulder ! It's not bad, it is just so tight and not as loose as it was before the trip.

Sorry to ramble everyone but SO much has happened since I got back, that I feel like I should of stayed there !!

On Tuesday of this week, my cat of 13 years Marbles passed away ! His heart was failing and he had fluid in his lungs..... I guess he had contracted a virus before I left but I didn't know he was sick.. I miss my baby !

AND I got papers from SSI.. they want to reopen my case so I have to go in front of the ALJ ALL OVER AGAIN !!!! I mean come on !!!! All because my first lawyer didn't even bother to include my Mental status from my Therapist..... Thank God I have a Great lawyer this time !

Well, guys I have rambled enough for now.. I also had many appts. this past week..... I will tell ya all about them another time ! As for now, I am happy to be home, sad to be here alone, but I am making the best of it ! At least I can look forward to going to Florida in January !!!!

I have missed you all and am glad that everyone is doing o.k.......

Hugs to everyone..

Talk to you all soon !

Default welcome back Dolfinz

Sorry to hear that there was illness on your trip.
Please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of your cat. It is agony. I lost my baby last January and still cry about missing her. I cried a whole week when she died and then off and on for a month but the worst is the times you don't expect it and you just well up because you miss your baby. So I feel your pain and know that I will send kitty prayers to the rainbow bridge for you.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
Author unknown...
I love that. Someone sent it to me when my girl passed from long term kidney disease.
It hurts. Let it hurt! Again my deepest condolences.

I haven't done much art too many doctor visits and not very well. I am frustrated. I have cards to do that MUST be sent out as well as ATC'S that must be sent out too.
send me a pm and we can chat.

hope everybody else is having a good day. I was until the insurance co. told me they wanted 4000.00 of taxes that workers compensation won't pay them back as it is the taxes that the co. paid for me. And who knows if I will get them back at year end.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhh

take care all
love and hugs,
Vic

Dolfinz, I am sorry about your cat. We had to put my cat, Sammy, to sleep 2 years ago. She was also 13 and very ill. The most difficult part was that my daughter who was 3 was very attached to her. My comfort now is that she and I talk about her. she likes to remember the things that Sammy liked, all the things that made her happy. the one thing that was difficult was trying not to be too upset in front of my daughter. I wanted her to understand that Sammy was too sick to stay with us. I didn't give too much information, only that Sammy wasn't in pain any more. My prayers are with you.

I hope you are feeling better from your return from your trip but it sounds like you had a great time.

Best wishes for a pain free day for everyone, Linda

Hello everyone - shelley tam, jo jkat, mark, lin, victoria, finz, cyn, Di, peg and anyone my tired brain is forgetting.... long time no talk!
Good news first- my cutie little girl turned 2 back in august; earlier this month my wife and I spent 10 days in Italy (I have a friend in seminary in Rome, and he was getting ordained to the transitional deaconate.) I had a pretty good 5 weeks pain wise too!

Now, I have a hell-flare, and I can't figure out what caused it. Its been 4 months since my last botox, so maybe thats playing a role in it. Work, needless to say has been... stressful. The 10+ hour flight home MAY have played a role too.... arghhhhhhh.

The weather here in mid-tennessee has been great- perfect temps during the day, and just a little chill at night. This will be our first fall and winter in Middle TN, and it looks like the trees are starting to turn, and its SO pretty. anywho.... hope all are well, and take care!

Default Marbles

Hi Dolfinz,
I forgot to mention.....I found the best way to get over my grief from the loss of my cat was to make her a scrapbook. It has become a hobby now as well as art and my ATC's. Seeing her in all the pictures was like reliving all the good times. I love her book and take it out frequently and cry.

love and hugs,
Vic
