Hello & welcome Debbie,
I don't get the headaches anymore, I only when I was having severe neck muscle spasms.
But some here do have them often.

I also wonder what the long term effects of these migraine-LIKE headaches are? My PT lady assured me that the body's nervous system can take it for a long time (very resilient) but I wonder, because it feels like a coma, or what a stroke must be like... or cancer, only it eventually subsides. Until next time. When they happen I just can't function. If you do a search in this forum you'll hear many similar stories.

Debbie- I too get migraines, and they usually happen when my pain spikes. Like Jo said, for me too, that involves neck muscle spasms. Its all i can do to lay down in a dark room when one of those hits.

Default migraines

Hi and welcome,
I am a migraine sufferer and wish to hell I wasn't. I have had 16 in the last month and am going to see a neurologist about botox for them. I go in December.

I usually get one if I do too much and have a lot of muscle spasms as previously mentioned.....lay down in quiet dark room ice on the neck and hope for the best.......that it goes away today and does not stay for 3 days or more!!!

take care and again welcome!
hugs,
Victoria

Hi Debbie,

I get headaches everyday. I have TOS and C5/6 disc protrusion with nerve entrapment. I believe my daily headaches are from myTOS. I get a head rush (like ice cream headache but 100 times worst) if I cough, laugh, yell, Swim (For some reason!) any sort of straining gives me this massive head rush which I think is nerve pain. I think my daily headaches, like pressure pain, is from TOS and my head rush is from nerve pain from C7. So im hearing you on the headache thing. It would have to be one of my worst complaints with TOS. I would love to have a day without a headache, I forgot what that feels like. Ahhhhhhh most people just want to win lottery but me (like us all here) just would like to be pain free and live a so called "normal' life. It's a real pain in the ******* when you have to hold your head just to laugh. I hope I dont hear a really funny joke cause I look really weird trying not to laugh while holding my head.

Ozzy
