Question Double Vison

Anyone have and fid out what caused their double vision?
I started some time ago, lateral double and triple vision. Sometimes it reduced to a ghosting effect to looking like three redlights on top of each other.

When I found 3 of my valiium last week they were the first days I was without this sympton since I ran out. I got a new neuro but he reduced my dose to .5 mg. That is not helping more then reducing the triple back to a double lateral (above each other, and above and below the objects).

So I took two of the .5 mg and today I had relieve again. I have a lot of cervical spasms, traps, shoulder.
I had all kinds of exams, MRI MRA, Optical, Opthamalogist, and carotid MRA.
EEG, so far no reason other then the spasms.
The triple vision keeps me limited. I can't drive, read, type, light chores as I can;t tell the counters, and floors distance and make huge messes.

The most I get is the really watery right eye and the blurry close up vision.
So I'm not much help for double vision...

Hi Jo,
Thanks anyway Jo.
My double vision must have created a double post. do you think you can delete one for the jar opener?
it was a can opener too...my eyes are so whacky at times.
But they are the two most helpful items in the kitchen right now.

Default hi DI

Sounds like a trapped optic nerve or pressure on the optic nerve....have you been to an opthamologist to have your eyes checked out just in case????
just a thought!!

love and hugs,
Victoria

Yep, that was the first stop the day I saw the PCP. Then the MRI MRA, W W/O contrast. Head, brain, neck scan. EEG,
But it was night and day when I got the valium for the spasms refilled. But he only filled .05 not the 10 mg I need to aliviate the symptoms.

But the nerves to the muscles are intact from the exam, it has to be compression from spasms in the traps, neck and head....
Scary though when you can't see right.
Blessings

No double vision here, but I've got blind four times. Apparently it was an occular migraine. So, something like pressure on a nerve or vessel somewhere. I imagine it's the same for double vision, right?
