Anyone have issue with these disc? I had a MRI that showed damage on these however the doc did not offer much in the way of how to handle discomfort or pain. I also had a doppler ultrasound and it shows TOS in the waveform when I brought my hands above my head. I have a large knot under my right underarm area.

I had a T 3 minor twist thing , one of the adv. PTs mentioned it and my chiro had that area circled on his evaluation paper that he gave me on my first visit.
I think they got it fixed for me no one has mentioned it since then {04}

It wasn't a disk issue for me, the vertebra was twisted or tilted a bit compared to the rest.

the armpit knot might be part of a pec minor syndrome, or lymph nodes blocked.

Your vertebrae are bones. The discs are soft tissues. Not sure if you're meaning bone or soft tissue issues.

MRIs are good diagnostic tools. If you have your MRI report, read the "Impression" section. This is the radiologist's opinion/diagnosis to your referring physician.

A lot of radiologist-to-doctor talk.

The "findings" DESCRIBES what the radiologist sees. They communicate and understand what it means by what it says and what it don't mean by what it says. Just as important for you to understand. Not everything they're saying here means bad things. I understand.

Your doctor should have tried to explain the results to you but so often it's too much to digest when they do take the time to explain what it means that we still are not sure what all that meant.

If you have the report, copy in the impression and let's see what they're talking about.

TOS is not good... I'm 4 U

Maybe you need to look for a good TOS doc or Pain Manangement doc. They will address your pain, or at least mine did. It's hard to find understanding and help for TOS. Until you get someone experienced working with you, you're going to be frustrated with the rest of advice you get.

They're so many things to try for relief of symptoms, so many good tips to try. Look around and don't be afraid to ask questions about TOS. We're here to share our experiences so it will help ease another's suffering.
