Default Back after a long time

Hi everyone. I don't even know how long it has been. Summer has taken away so much of my time. I had to help my daughter search for an apartment in NYC. I was unhappy with everything. She has a roomate who I like, and really like her mom. These girls have been very unrealistic about the city. They wanted to live in Brooklyn because it is the "up an coming" place to live. Sorry, not were she is living. We're talking about $1,800 per month for an apartment in an industrial area! There wern't doors on the bedroom! The people in the area were not what I wanted her to live by. In one apartment the bathtub was in the kitchen!!!. I can't tell you the way I felt. These girls think it's cool. Sorry, NO F Way!

We found an apartment on the east side, midtown. Very nice. Very safe. We just got her in on Friday. It is very sad for me but I know this is life and this is what it is. I am going back in on friday for lunch. I know some of you have children out of the house and know what I am feeling. This is her second year but last year was a dorm. Very different than an apartment. This seems more permanent. She is a very smart, not necessarily meaning intelligence, but knows what she is doing to be safe. She has spent the summer hmoe so I miss her already.

I know I told you I was diagnosed with RSD and I believe it is not true. I still believe it is the TOS and maybe something else but not RSD. I cancelled the procedure Dr. Schwartzmann wanted to do. The ketamine is very drastic. I am sure it could be helpful for some but not for me.

I haven't read up on everyones progress. I will spend some time reading up so I can see how everyone is doing. I hope you have enjoyed your summer. Sorry I haven't stayed in touch. I have had a tough summer for many reasons. Thanks for listening! Linda

Heart

Thinking of you tonsdear friend,
Summer did fly by, and life went on the good and bad.
Hopefully the kids keep you going with lots of new love notes each day.
Maybe destressing will reduce some pain. I feel like the stress layers are making us in the flight or fight tight shoulders around the neck and wings are ready to fly off....
My hugs and love,
Di

Thanks Dianne, I am feeling ok and happy I cancelled the ketamine. I saw Dr. Papagallo in NYC and he seems very helpful. I just can't see myself being put through those infusions. I am in constant pain but not where I can't function. Hope you are doing well. I know you have alot on your plate.

School starts soon. I have to take the boys shopping for their uniforms. That is one thing I like, uniforms. Makes school shopping very easy.

I love where Ryann is living. It is in a "neighborhood" in the city. That is very hard to find. I love the superintendent(?). He is very helpful. He installed the a/c units, smoke detectors and a new lock for us. The building is very clean and safe. All the neighbors I have met are in their 20's to 30's and very nice. Just tough to let go.

Hope all is well. As I said, I am going to read up and see how everyone is doing since I really haven't been here in awhile. Thanks again! Linda
