Default My TOS symptoms

Ok all of a sudden the pain is gone and the weakness in my arms is better. I found out there was a slight problem with C-5-6 spine area. Can Tos or spine problems cause flares and remissions? I noticed this gradually over the past week. I guess I'd better call the neuro tomorrow. Who I am trying to get changed Thursday at my physical anyway.

how did you discover you were having C-5-6 problems? just curious.

I am having some regular MRI's tomorrow to rule out spinal issues with my ongoing TOS

Trig don't know how many doc's I had to see

oh the hell!!! I have had too see so many doc's to get a dx........many types and the one who did my surgery was a vascular surgeon and the symptoms you describe about dizzyness and vertigo.....any tinnitis.(ringing in ear) I think I saw over 12 doctors.....I have no idea what it will take for you but DO NOT GIVE UP AND DO NOT TELL YOURSELF IT IS IN YOUR HEAD you need to keep the faith in yourself and it will happen!!!!! I hope your trip is not as long as mine was!

best of luck,
Victoria

Default question for Donna

What type of Doctor helped you in regards that the spinal issues can mimic TOS? My primary said I did not need to go to a spinal doc, she just sort of blew it off as something old people start getting. IM 47! She did however write out a referral for JOhns Hopkins in Baltimore, for all my neuro problems. There are 120 neuros there with different specialties. its a long haul but I really need some help. Thank you there may be angels.

Thanks so so much.

Hi, tough day but wanted to answer your question...it was a neurosurgeon here in Denver...also discussed w/dr. Sanders who agreed that the surgery on c5-7 might help...looks like you're on the righttrack, i'd recommend neuro consult. take care...

Default Thanks

Thanks all, I got the info about my C6-7 disk, from an MRI of C spine w/0 contrast. Says there is a minimal central bulge of that disk. With a tiny annular fissure. And some othe stuff I don't understand.
