hermom

just another thought.......are the strep antibody levels still high? I am assuming the infection itself is cleared up? No more fevers etc?
This may well be related to the strep infection too

have you mentioned the eyes to your doc who treated for strep?

Default Thanks

Hi, Thanks for the replies. I did take her to her DOC and he didn't seem to think it was from her tic (she rolls her eyes up and blinks a little) he gave me a scrip for eye allergies. I know she doesn't have them though. We both told him that they dont itch or burn. It just started once her TIC got bad again (after being really sick, ugh), come night time they are really red. The allergy drops I used it 2 times and both times she cryed (she is 10) because it stung SOOOO bad. I am not going to give them to her anymore.....It will make her tic worst too because it is making her eyes sting. (((

a very soothing thing for eyes is the old sliced cucumber remedy....just wash and make two round cucumber slices and then let her rest with those covering each eye

I really do think this may have something to do with the illness, which in turn is likely what triggered the intense tics....JMHO
