For the past week or more, I have had a pain on the right side of my head, sometimes at the temple, but most of the time just above my temple. It is a throbbing pain that hurts when I touch my head. Even just moving my hair away from my face hurts. I have been icing it and that seems to help. I am seeing a neurologist (for a second opinion) on Thursday. Just wondering if anyone has had this happen. I also have been noticing that I get a feeling on the right side of my head that feels almost like goosebumps or like something is spreading out on my head. Everyday I feel like am a crazy person. I try not to talk myself into anything, but it is hard when it is right there. I have also been noticing that typing and speaking and remembering names has gotten harder over the past week too.
I am almost afraid to ask if anyone else has experienced this or if I am just "crazy". |

I have had left side headaches and goosebumps/tingling feeling for a long time. I think it is tied to a circulation problem I have in my left vertebral artery. For a long time, the hair on the left side of my head grew at a slower rate that on the right, About 3/8 to 1/2 inch over 8 weeks. My hairstylist needed reminding to check the length from side to side.
I rarely have the tingling anymore, nor the hair length problem. It seemed to subside about a year ago. I have been very diligent to avoid the neck/head position that seems to cause the inflammation in my neck. Maybe the injury has healed. Have you asked a doctor about it?
