Has anyone tried hydergine or piracetam for the treatment/enhancment of brain function? I have been looking online and these drugs work to increase blood flow to the brain and have been perscribed to patients with Alzheimers disease. They also have very few side effects.

Both hydergine and piracetam are controversial as therapies for Alzheimer's Disease.
Piracetam was discussed extensively last fall. Do a "find" for the threads. Hydergine supports Dopamine and Serotonin and works against adrenaline. It would probably be wise to use them with a doctor's direction to see if this mix of effects on these neurotransmitters is appropriate. Hydergine requires a doctor's prescription according to the FDA. Piracetam is currently not available in the US. There were some importers sneaking it in from China but Customs has dropped the hammer on them and confiscated the supply. The body building and brain improvement industries were selling it as work-out enhancers and 'smart drugs'.
