Question brain state conditioning

hi i am going to trying a therapy called brain state conditioning and would really like to know if anyone here has heard of it or had first hand experience with using it. the claims they make are rather fantastic and have left me feeling a little skeptical cause if it really can do all they say then why isn't everyone doing it??
thanks for help with this as the only feedback i have gotten from the company is of course their 'success' stories. and the cost is quite high.
apparently there is some risk factor as well but that is also not very clear and as my brain does not work too good it is difficult for me to understand and make decisions about this.

poulps,

Brain State Tech has little information about the way their system works. It sounds like a non-volitional neuro-therapy like device. For the claims they make, it would be appreciated if they would publish some research. Instead, they have a very profit driven model and staffing. I am not impressed with the credentials of the founder and upper staff.

There are many different systems for relaxation and mediation assistance. ROSHI also claims to help with relaxation and meditative states.

Reading their web site is like reading a used car salesman's pitch. What they say is interesting. What they do not say is crucial. They dance around the FDA regulations very well.

I would consider their system like EMDR, LENS and ROSHI. Expensive but unproven.

Stimulation based systems risk upsetting the brain's sensory uptake system. Some of these systems risk causing seizures.

The web site even states that is has a philosophical foundation that differs from the other systems.

It is a bit too over-reaching in its claims and under-reaching in its explanation.

caveat emptor....

Buyer beware.

Default thanks mark re brain training

i am finding the treatments very upsetting and leaving me at times suicidalizing.. and also wondering about the claims they make like if they really can do what they say why the heck isn't everyone doing it!
the sessions are interesting with lots of tones which i did find matched what i have been doing on my to find find balance as music is so calming anyway.
i ma so very frustrated trying to get help for my symptoms and i guess that puts me at such huge risk for grasping at the straws of anything coming my way.
i don't know how much longer i can tolerate this constant anxiety and confusion they keep saying wait ................................................:S igh:

so wait i shall....

poulsp,

Who is saying wait?

What are you supposed to wait for?

Do the brain state conditioning people say their therapy will treat post concussion syndrome?
