Default Testosterone and head injuries

As I read posts regarding help with Post Concussive Syndrome I see this disturbing prevalence of us not knowing the need to have our levels of Testosterone checked..It seems we do have this vague knowledge that our levels may be low but truly lack the insight of what a low level may do to our thinking and our physical well being.. I say this only because I'm proof of what replacing your depleted levels can do for your emotional and physical well being..
I was in an auto accident on 6/8/09. I'm still having some cognitive issues with impulsiveness and at times some irrational behavior, but I'm light years ahead of where I was in June 09.. I was really depressed and anxious the first three moths or so. Then I went thru this period of apathy where all I wanted to do was sit in my room and be by myself..I wasn't depressed, I just didn't are about anything or anyone.. This was pretty disturbing as I have always been a people person who wore my feelings on my sleeve so to speak..
Doc ordered blood and urine tests and my Testoterone levels were extremely low..Started semi monthly injections about 8 months ago and I feel so much better..Energy and motivation all came back along with my happiness..
Long story short I'm now at 14 months and although I'm currently dealing with some irrational behavior, like being talkative albeit with an impulsive inability of not having the ability to filter my thoughts, I am so much better mentally and physically..
Any new thoughts and additional info would be appreciated..
