I had problems from my head injury years ago. It left a lump and I was always aware that it hurt when I brushed my hair or touched my scalp. Eventually that feeling faded.

I had another fall and head injury 4 weeks ago and it's sore from the cut and where it was stitched still but the most noticeable thing is that it's almost as if the hair follicles have suddenly been sent off in the wrong direction. So apart from my skull actually still hurting and I still have another lump, anything touching it hurts. Mostly when the wind blows my hair it hurts.

I think in my case it's a combination of the lump still going down and also the cuts still healing and the fact that there's something weird going on with the hair follicles. It's not really really bad pain as such, it's a more of a sensation. Hard to explain.
