Nick-

Do not start school until you are feeling better! I was completing my graduate degree when I had my accident. My advisor suggested taking a medical leave. I did so and am SO glad that I did.

Along with the fear of exacerbating my symptoms, right now I know I'm not mentally together to perform at a level that would be appropriate. And I have the neurocognitive testing to prove it.

At the best, it's just going to slow down your recovery.

I know it's hard, because you feel like you want to move on with life, as I am struggling with this now too, but I really would not go back yet. And you would have to check disability requirements in your state. I know some feel that if you are able to go to school, then you are able to work so you are unable to recieve disability.

Ugh, I totally understand all you are going through. Its awful.
