I was fortunate enough to go to a Healing Touch International support group where students meet to practice and discuss experiences. DUring this conference, the instructor mentioned a need for her large class this weekend and needed a helper, so I offered my services since im not working. 10 hours both Saturday and Sunday....most of the time she was demonstrated techniques on me and other times i would help other people with techniques if they were doing it wrong.

I felt so AMAZING all weekend long. I got a headache about 4pm today, and the instructor did a treatment for my headache, and quickly got it down to a 0 from a 3/10. I wish all of you had Healing Touch Practitioners nearby that you can experience this type of relief as well!!!

Its been exactly 2 weeks since i took my Level 1 class and learned self-healing techniques and they have been the BEST 2 WEEKS i've had in the past 7 months!!! You gotta feel this relief to believe it!! Check out Healing Touch Internationals website and see if there is a practitioner near you!!! I've been doing treatments on my friends and they all want to learn as well because of how amazing they feel afterwards. Lay people can take the class.....Nurses and Massage Therapists get CEU's for their licenses.

The class today had a husband and wife who came to the class because their son has been a patient in the unit for the past 3 months (i believe from a brain injury and accident) and he's been getting healing touch by the Integrative Medicine Healing Touch Nurse and they wanted to learn how to do it on their son when he is home from rehab and continue healing. It was so beautiful to watch them learning and also getting the relaxation benefits from getting treatments since it can be quite stressful being a caregiver!

GRATEFUL, INSPIRED, HEALING, LOVE

MRI and CT negative. Symptoms included constant headaches (migraine, pressure, tension, icepicks), dizziness, tinnitus, visual changes, photophobia, fatigue, "spacing out", word finding difficulties, depression, and emotional lability.
Began Healing in November 2011 after starting acupuncture and Healing Touch (a nurturing energy therapy that promotes relaxation and pain relief). I went back to work in February 2012. Ive been symptom free since July 2012. Very happy, positive, energetic and working out every day, doing yoga, and living a normal life again!
I also began taking Healing Touch classes in November 2011 and completed 5 Levels of Healing Touch Certificate Program that included a 1 year mentorship to become a Healing Touch International Practitioner in June 2013. I am so pleased to offer this wonderful healing therapy to my patients, friends, and clients.

Default hello night nurse

I will ask the PCP if he knows anyone practing this healing touch. I only know I had a night nurse who was the only to understand the pain I was in. There was poor communication in hospital regarding my medications. I had been on morphine and they didn't give me enough considering that after my surgery. this night nurse asked for more for me and practiced healing touch while we were waiting, didn't leave me alone to suffer. That compassion went a long way to ease my suffering. Thanks for your post. ginnie

You can look for yourself to find a practitioner at HealingTouchInternational. They have contact information for all the practitioners. A lot of the nurses who are certified also practice out of their homes. Glad to hear you had a positive experience with it while you were in the hospital!
