Hello everyone,
Can someone tell me what they consider to be a small and a large arachnoid cyst? I haven't seen neuro yet but primary Dr says it's 2 cm sitting on the brainstem. Can someone tell me if this is considered big or small?? |

Read this link. It appears a 2 cm cyst is a large cyst.
http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Neurolo...st/show/294660 Is there a difference in treatment of a small vs large arachnoid cyst? From some quick reading, the small ones tend to be asymptomatic. They appear to be very treatable.
