I know this has been said before, but I am just "reminding" everyone about doing too much.
We got 12 inches of snow yesterday and I thought I would help by shoveling off the deck ( was feeling better). Today, everything hurts, I can't retreive words, I'm having trouble forming sentences. Had to take pills for my headache and one for nausea. today, I am useless. I forget, one of my symptoms, that physical activity works on you just like any mind activity would. |

I have a saying, If someone wants to know what my limitations are or what my worst symptom is, I just say, "I forget."
Learning to pace yourself is one of the most difficult things to do, especially when you are feeling better.

Oh, I hear ya on this one! We only got about 2 inches of snow yesterday, so I shoveled and then later in the day went to the gym for 30 min of cardio (dr. recommends 30 min of cardio at least 3x week). I've been feeling pretty good the last couple of weeks (excluding my sleep) and I felt fine all day yesterday. Paying for it now though. Horrible sleep last night and mild headache and subtle dizziness today. Ugh! Learning lessons the hard way.
