Very new to posting in this format - I had a slip and fall accident resulting in a concussion on 11/4/2011. Persistent headaches, blurry vision, brain fog ever since. Post Concussion Syndrome with PTSD diagnosed. Feels like headaches will never end. Dr. has me on enough medications, anti inflammatory, pain, depression, headaches but little seems to work. Most is some relief - taking the edge off the pain to make it somewhat tolerable. In the state of mind where I really don't know what to do next...

EJ,

Welcome to NeuroTalk. Your head aches and other symptoms sound normal for PCS.

What is the PTSD diagnosis about?

What drugs does your doctor have you on?

PCS can be difficult but with a wild mix of drugs, it can be difficult to tell the PCS symptoms from the drug side-effects.

Are you doing anything with diet and nutrition to help your brain?

Also, are you avoiding caffeine, alcohol and MSG?

What kind of doctor are you seeing?

My best to you.
