I have a HUGE personal collection of music at home.
I have found that I am unable to listen to most of it still, much of the time... I own some Brian Eno stuff and dig on it a lot. But I completely understand Mark's opinion too. I felt the same way just the other day at a restaurant that had some Jazz playing over the loudspeaker - it was stuff I really would've liked before the accident and I can't even listen to it nowadays, I had to leave the restaurant ASAP. Luckily, I'm still making a lot of improvement through all of this, so I'm hoping I'll be able to listen to any kind of music that I want to again without trouble or having to suffer. Some of the more relaxing stuff I own that I recommend people check out: Herb Ernst http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0qOPSw8rK0 Deuter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slpQv-ePdc4 Merlin's Magic - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQJwSjeP2rk Deborah Van Dyke http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNMAGoslneE Enigma http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rk_sAHh9s08&feature=fvsr Zero 7 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INn1C...15806F3189C6A3 Electric Skychurch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ve_msFETDI Buddha Bar cds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ia-Xl...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P48J8...eature=related And I just found this gem looking for the others ^: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03cCv...eature=related I think if you want to find some relaxing music, just doing a search for "meditation", "new age", "Reiki", "massage", or even "relaxation" on you tube is going to yield some pretty great stuff! |

I'm bumping up this older thread that might be useful to some folks who have joined recently.
