Can someone tell me what is wrong and how to proceed? I have had 5 doctors and a pharmist make serious errors in my medical care. I am an RN and feel that I know when medication errors were made. In every case that doctor and nurse would be fired. But not under Texas law. Malpractice lawsuits here are nonexistent no attorney will even go near a malpractice suit. I have called at least 15 law firms. Life and death errors were made. One after another with different doctors every time. I am overwhelmed and still having harsh medical problems and trying to find help. I need medical and legal help.

lov2laugh,
Welcome to NeuroTalk. I am sorry to hear of your struggles. I am not surprised to hear of the level of care you have received. Please tell us more about yourself and your symptoms and your experience with doctors and meds. You may have received the same ignorant care that many of us have received. Malpractice is a very difficult case to prove. I tried to pursue a case against a doctor who made a mistake and cut off part of my thumb during a botched surgery. The evidence was dead on but no attorney would take the case. If you want to post privately, you may need more posts and time on NT. Maybe a moderator can forward your PM's to me or another member. Let us know how we can help you. My best to you.

but I am not sure what you mean by "Maybe a moderator can forward your PM's to me or another member." ![]() Only members have access to their own PMs! Moderators do *not* have access to member PMs. That is why they are called private messages. If a member wants to send a direct PM to a moderator they can do so, or they can forward a PM sent to them by another member if they want a moderator to review it, but no moderator is able to enter a member's PM box

I was aware of L2L's visitor status. It appeared that she might be hesitant to post enough info publicly. As you said, she could send a PM to a moderator to be reviewed and forwarded if she did not want to post publicly. I was not suggesting anybody had back door access to PM's.
love2laugh, If you don't want to post information publicly, you can left click on any member's screen name (in the upper left) and a drop down box will give you access to 'Send a Private Message' to that screen name. You can also use your profile editing features under User CP at the upper left in the Blue Bar to change communication settings and even block individual screen names from sending you PM's. This forum provides plenty of ways to communicate. Let us know how we can help. My best to you.

I'm sorry to hear of your struggles. I have a few different doctors and they all vary in opinion of my PCS. I tend to take in what they tell me but then make decisions regarding my care based on my decisions. I'm not sure about how to help you with the md's. If you feel they were negligent in your care perhaps a formal complaint should be filed with the health department. I know in CT there is a way to do this. As for the pharmacist. Three weeks ago I went to pick up my scripts and in my bag was a bottle with another patient's name on it. I went back to Walgreens after a phone call and it turns out someone mixed up the labels. Luckily I didn't take anything until it was settled. The pills were right, the label was wrong. I did put up a fuss. Unacceptable. I hope you find some relief soon.

Once a member has the status to send PMs to a moderator, they can send PMs to any other member. When members send PMs to mods for review, it is usually because they are upset at something someone else has PMd them, not because they want our permission to send a PM to someone else. So all new members have to wait to send PMs to anyone, including mods, until they have the required post count to use that feature. Should a new member need to contact administration, they (and anyone, even those not logged in) can use the CONTACT US link at the bottom of all pages. love2laugh...you should be able to send PMs real soon ![]() The reason we have the restriction is to prevent our members from being spammed via PM
