The funny thing is how they seem to defy gravity and just stay there indefinitely. I sympathize with your frustration, believe me. With PCS, sometimes your choice is to laugh about it or cry about it and sometimes it's not even a choice. Try to hang in there. It's great that you have family support that can keep you grounded. |

I have tried to put the milk in the cupboard and the cereal in the fridge too!
I forget things all the time. It can be frustrating, but it's been happening to me for so long now (accident was on 7-28-10) that I usually just laugh. I do get frustrated when 60-somethings refer to it as the normal aging process. I'm not 60. or 40. or even 35. So, no this is not "normal". I try to keep my purse in the same spot all the time. That way I can find it. Likewise with my phone or anything else I own. Luckily, we live in a two bedroom condo, so there aren't too many places I need to look for something before I find it... usually. |

You are fortunate to find things in the last place you look.
If I find something in the 20th place I looked, it is usually not the last place I look. My brain forgets that I found it and keeps looking for a while. It gets kind silly. After a few corrections where I remind my brain that I already found it, I finally stop looking.

It's been almost 2 1/2 months since my concussion. I still have those mental brain skips. It goes beyond "normal" lapses.
I understand your frustration.
