Hi guys, I had an MRI yesterday and going through it was a total setback for me! The noise and vibrations drove me nuts and now this morning my dizziness is 100x worse! It's so frustrating!
Could it be that having the MRI gave me another concussion? It totally exasterbated the symptoms that's for sure! |

I don't think so, probably just overstimulated you, MRIs are weird experiences. Overstimulation can make you much dizzier over the next few days, so you need to rest and it should improve.

valleybob,
The pounding does two things. It over-stimulates you with noise and it causes vibrations that can subtly impact your brain. The vibrations should not put you at risk of further damage. It just brought your symptoms back to full force. A day or two of rest and head ache meds should bring you back to your pre-MRI state. Why did they do the MRI?

Neurologist ordered MRI to rule things out. And since they have never checked my neck this was the next course of action.
