Default HAve had a good week

WEll, other than the weird thursday, I've had a much better week! I think learning to recognize the signs of fatigue and setback before it happens has been good, as well as accepting that my life really did need to change in order to finally start improving. I cannot thank all of you here enough!

I am on progesterone though, so I wonder how much of me feeling better is due to the protective effects of progesterone on the brain, as well as thyroid medication which helps with the fatigue. I worry about when I have to stop the progesterone though... and what kind of whiplash effect it'll have on my recovery, but I guess I'll have to deal with that as I go. I cannot worry about every single eventuality!

Anyways, just wanted to share some good news for once, and say a giant thank you to all of you for helping to keep me sane (ok, well, I am never sane but at least not insane!!!)

Feb 24, 2012 - Slipped on a large puddle of ice at work, hitting the back of my head. No loss of consciousness, so I assumed I'd be back at work within a few days. I was wrong.

When resting, symptoms are low. With exertion, I still suffer from fatigue, migraines, vision problems, problems thinking or reading, troubles sleeping, issues finding or getting words to my mouth when the headaches are bad, tinnitus, and thyroid issues which I think are due to the concussion. Seen one specialist, and now a few others through insurance review of my case. Hoping for further treatment.
