Just wondering if anyone else has intense heat setting in-
in early May. ![]() Just offering support. Hope your head pain, if any, is not affected too much. I noticed mine spike a bit, but oddly (due to being around air conditioning at the moment of impact?), the AC makes it worse when indoors. Thanks for reading- |

I noticed today (not quite as hot as you had, but really humid). I too stay inside with the AC on. Today I was outside just sitting in the shade for only half an hour and ended up getting that"carsick" feeling, as well as a horrible headache. Is this normal? any tips on how to avoid? Kids have outdoor activities coming up...

I think mine gets worse with heat, too, but I also wonder if it's harder to stay well-hydrated in a hot environment. I notice I have a hard time keeping up with my water intake on days like that.

I'm in the SF Bay Area, too, and the heat has been something. I bascially like it warm, but the headaches do take some of the joy.
Imitrex-on-demand, and I also find a big iced pitcher of non-caffeinated tea (I like Japanese barley tea) is a big help.

Since the first concussion I have continually knocked my head into different things purely by accident or from being stupid. These many concussions over a short period of time have caused constant migraines, nausea, and dizziness/lack of balance. Migraine triggers are: light sensitivity (especially to florescent or bright lights) sound sensitivity (especially to high pitched or loud sounds) temperature sensitivity (especially to cold or extreme heat) activity (especially if breathing increases or head is jostled) pressure on head (sinuses, hats, headbands, sunglasses, pony-tails) lacks or quality (food, sleep, water) tension (stress, tight muscles, tired eyes, sickness) |
