I'm from the UK, I had an accident in late Dec and it took me 3 months to get better from the PCCS that followed.

Ive had headaches, confusion, lack of sleep, sensitivity to loud noises, memory loss, insomnia, and tiredness.

This really is a horrible condition, I wouldnt whish it on my worst enemy.

I found that doing nothing helped, I basically locked myself away for two weeks and lay in bed doing nothing, any kind of stressful situation would set me back.

Really feel for anyone who gets stuck with this for many years, I couldn't cope with that.

Mark you seem pretty knowledgable , have you any thoughts how likely noticeable improvement is even after 18 months . It's just I don't seem to have progressed in any real sense and I wonder if I can stay hopeful ?

Yep, well done - I am also from the UK. I tripped over a power lead in January and went down with a huge bang. Still suffering almost the same as day 1. I have been told that a neuro scan is not available in my locality until December this year which will be nearly a year after the incident - the best my doctor will give me is paracetemol

I'm in the NW and Liverpool have a headache clinic at a Neuro centre and the staff are brilliant . I know its easy to say but Try and mention it to your GP or even try another GP . My head hasn't really improved much but it has a little and that's because of the variety of meds we've tried , help is out there so try and see if your GP will listen .
