The last 5 or so days when i read words the sentences kind of move back and forth or look at things in my parephial vision things kind of move too. I have pcs and noticed my sensitive to light is fading so thats good could my eyes and brain just be readjusting to normal sight or is this more serious?

I suggest that you get a vision evaluation examination. The effects you are describing can be addressed and fixed with Vision Therapy which is usually not covered by insurance.
I have my first appointment next Saturday! ![]() http://covdblog.wordpress.com/2011/0...meets-the-eye/ http://www.covd.org/ https://covdwp.memberpoint.com/WebPo...nalSearch.aspx http://www.nora.cc/ |

EsthersDoll,
Thanks so much for posting the information on Vision Therapy. I think it is a bright spot for those suffering from vision problems due to brain injury or learning disability, for that matter. Six years ago we had an evaluation done for vision therapy for our daughter, who has dyslexia, and the information gleaned about her visual processing was superb. Unfortunately there was no one to provide the therapy in our area. Fingers crossed that has changed as she shows signs of visual processing problems from both the dyslexia and the hx of concussion. Keep us posted on how the therapy goes. |

I'll be sure to keep everyone posted about my continuing improvement and recovery. I pray that you will be able to find a practitioner in your area ASAP. I think the most confusing thing about finding a vision therapy practitioner is that there are many different organizations that allow you to search for one and not all practitioners can be found on each organization's webpage. I was referred to one that didn't have an open appointment that I could attend and it was difficult for me to find another one close by. So, please make sure you look at every organizations webpage to make sure there isn't one in your area (just in case you didn't already do this...) There are other threads with links to some of the others - I'm sorry I can't include them all here, I'm exhausted right now. |

If you can't find someone on the NORA website, you can also try http://www.braininjuries.org That's where I found my vision therapist.
