Post Thoughts about headaches and stress levels! ❤

Hey my times on here might not be often because of our crazy bills and such but here is my next post:

Headaches.

I've found that my headaches are indescribable. I should say one headache because it has been constant since impact (November 8th, 2011). They are always painful and overwhelming. They are nothing close to what I've ever felt prior to my concussion.

On the worst days I can't do anything but go up in a dark, cold, quiet room and try to rest, completely overtaken by pain. On my best days it's still noticeable and interfering.

I'd say the headache has been the ultimate symptom. It's affected by almost everything. Yes, things like my severe light and sound sensitivity affect me too. But they affect my headache, my overall overstimulation, and of course my amount of energy I have left that I'm able to use before I'm completely done.

My headache affects my whole body not just one part of my head. I feel it at the temples, along the sides, to the base of the head and neck, to the base of my neck and shoulders, all the way down my spine.

Then I can also feel my blood pumping hard through my fingertips and wrist, toes, knees, and almost everywhere! I think I might have increased feel of my pulse maybe because of my sensitivity with a high headache.

Stress.

One thing I've thought about is I wonder if the amount of stress your brain/body is under when you get a concussion could affect the severity. Like say 2 people are put in the same situation and everything is the same besides their stress level.

I think it's possible!

Also, I think you're overall stress level affects how quickly you can recover! During the very busy and VERY stressful parts of this year, it was different than now where I'm care free. Obviously the better you get the more I should be able to handle but since I haven't had nearly as much stress and emotion, it's been a lot easier!

I might just be a crazy young lady but it really makes me think!!

Just food for thought! ❤
