Confused hooked on norco ?

hello my name is doug , im 51 years old from michigan , i have had 7 brain surgeries since going down with a brain aneurysm on 6-7-10 , one was to install a drain shunt to drain the fluid from my brain as it was building up around my right eye after open brain surgery , ive been taking 10-325mg of norco for the pain but all it does is mask it , most days i take 5 or 6 pills in a 24hr period , i try to stop taking it but i just cant , is this drug addictive ? can i be hooked on it , id like some input on this drug / thanks
