Link Surprised by doctors reaction!

I told Sospan I would place a thread explaining what happened at GP visit.

So 1 month ago TBI

Readmitted 10 days later.

On bed rest for 4 weeks and suddenly this wednesday, as I fell asleep pain attacked my head, I could not lift my left arm, the room was spinning, I was reaching to be sick, had to sleep sitting up all night.

Exhausted and in need of more pain relief I went to GP.

He was so kind and understanding! He has assigned someone to me as a care worker who will look after me personally. Someone who I can talk to any time, ask questions, get reassurance and will chart my progress.

He said "this accident has clearly made a huge impact on your marriage, social and work life, you were doing so well and I can see this has knocked your confidence".

How refreshing to find some sympathy. I have also got a referral to an orthopedic consultant to check my neck and the affect it seems to be having on my arm.

I am impressed.
