I'm not sure how best to describe this but here goes:
My headaches are worst when I look down. If I look down to read a book or to pick something up from the floor, I get this huge wash of throbbing pain unlike any headache I ever experienced pre tbi. It sort of feels like my head is being crushed. Anyway, about 80% of the time, when I put my head back to normal position, I feel a click/thud in my head. It also happens if I've been sitting with my head in one position for a while and move. It almost feels like my brain isn't properly supported in my head anymore, as gross as that sounds. I've explained this to the docs but I'm still awaiting proper after treatment so I don't know what they make of it. Does anybody else experience this? |

My uncle was diagnosed with a dislodged bone in his inner ear after his accident resulting in the ongoing copy symptoms of PCS.
Just an idea?... |

andromeda,
Could your clicking be in your neck, especially your upper neck behind your ears? It is not uncommon for damage to be done to the joints/ facets and condyles where the vertebra connect. I get a clicking/popping when I move my head after it being in the same position for a long time.

Sounds like a neck thing to me; I've noticed that before, it can be really loud sometimes. But when I'm taking muscle relaxers, it doesn't happen. If you have any damage to the bones in your neck, it should show up on an MRI, but if it's tissue damage/swelling, it won't.
