Theta Z,

I think you are doing the right thing. You will certainly have benefit probably not Enlightenment. But considering all the meds we are swallowing and most of the time it makes things worse than better until we find something if we are lucky.

This new drug may take years to come out in the market. Magic mushroom is not easy to obtain in U.S. Also I never did any drugs in my life so not sure I want to go that path. Then again I take Xanax (min. dosage) which is kinda drug but sure relieves symptoms. Even alcohol is a drug (and in fact worse and is legal!!!).

Since Xanax helps, this is the reason I believe we should be able to train our mind to keep it quiet and ignore all the external stimulations, anger, useless thoughts (90 % of our thoughts are not productive) etc.,

This is where insight meditation can help hopefully. Still I always mention be cautiously optimistic about anything
