I created a new thread because I didn't want to detract from the post that Chris4329 created In the thread taking time of work http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread175637.html
Nightnurse30 posted something that really struck a chord when she said "I took 2 months off per his recommendation. I didn't really rest during that time...i spent it trying to do things i couldn't do before or testing myself" and "I finally realized that i was not doing what they said...I was not truly resting" Since my accident I have limited my PC time and stopped doing a lot of the building work that used to occupy my time, did all the other good things - no alcohol and improved my diet. What I have just realised is that I have filled my time with other things - chasing down benefit claims, responding to solicitors letters etc. P.s. thanks to NighNurse for the wake up call I have even tried some of the on line neuropsychology tests to try and analyse what is wrong with me rather than letting nature take its course. Just wonder how many of us have been guilty of doing this?
