pcslife and andromeda, et al -
Rx Cyclobenzaprine (brand names: Amrix, Fexmid, Flexeril) was something my primary care physician rx'd for me for longterm usage, as needed, to help with aches, pains, relaxing (tho' it is not anxiolytic in action) and she said it would help me relax, to sleep. It worked well for me and I used it for 3 years, and neurologists concurred. I mention it only because it's rx'd readily enough by the ERs, PCPs, neurologists, etc. (Would sure like to be able to get a rx for alprazolam, yes, or even rx klonipin (sp?) again, but drs here are making us all tuff-it-out nowadays it seems. Arrrghhh.) Rx Lunesta for sleep is working for me this year, though it will 'buy me' at most 6 hours of sleep. That's a good night for me most nights in 2012. Sleep well, andromeda. Best, Theta ![]() |
