Default Been there

You have my sympathy, i have the same story to tell. Keep away from psychiatrists they have no training or understanding of brain injury.

Schizophrenia actually means 'split mind and brain' which is our problem as our minds and brains are out of sync and we can not do or say what our minds want.

The only advice i can give you is to look up Amantadine. Take your research to a doctor and try to convince them to prescribe it. It does not repair cognitive damage but makes you more alert so you do not get confused then tired so easily.

Take the lowest dose as it builds up and can stop you from getting that much needed sleep.

If the doctor does not understand your problem, then change doctors which is what i had to do.
