Default I Just Found Out I have PCS & Mild Dementia!!!

I was a healthy and active 26 year old that had been involved in a high speed car accident over a year ago and it was not my fault.I had a neck injury and took a hit on face and my jaw was popping on one side but was more focused on neck and all the crazy symptoms of flu, headaches, anxiety all the above for PCS (but did not know at time) I first went to chiropractor and did nothing then.

Then I had went to dentist to get some dental work done and it was on the side of head that got hit.Instantly I was in great deal of pain and could not talk or eat.I had went back to my primary doctor and they order a MRI of NECK, physical therapy, a bunch of muscle relaxers, steroids, and bed rest.

There was a waiting list for 2 months for physical therapy for local because I could not go to far because I was doing to much even getting out of bed for a hour to do PT.PT made me worse before better then we added myofascial massage with PT It helped A lot with what we thought TMJ or TMD but I took this blow to my face on that side with lock and drop.

Well fighting with the opposing persons insurance because I used all my PIP and they would not pay for anything till I settled....No way I was not even fixed or have a diagnosis! So I was forced to get a lawyer so I could get into a neurologist the MRI of head & EMG came back normal. Then neuro reevaluated me and noticed my balance was off from my walk and I had been complaning about my speech was off and my thought process was not the same plus all the other symptoms were PCS.

Then I went to get a ENG test last week and I have a severe case of PCS amongst other impairments like DEMENTIA...I had to withdraw from school because I could not remember nothing!I have to under go 5 different therapies including neurocognitive therapy!I had to sign my legal stuff over to my mother because she has her head on straight and want's me to get new lawyer.

I suppose to focus on me so when I start these new therapies I need to get myself together to climb these mountains to try to get my best results from therapy for my impairments plus a list of symptoms and other issues.I am not digesting this very well and I need to get positive to make this happen.I am broke, have a child and my life has done a 360!Wish you the best
