You sound like you are burning both ends of the candle toward the middle. That is what my doctor read me the riot act about. It could be a big part of you struggles.

I can understand the struggles to function on Xanax. It is not much different than the Klonopin I was on. I needed a stimulant to do just about anything. When I told my doctor I was juicing with caffeine, he was furious. He took me off the Klonopin and put me on gabapentin before bed. It works much better and allowed me to be much more functional.
