While cooking "Winter Gumbo" this evening for my personal-chef-ing clients, I opened my doors (70 degrees outside this evening!) to FIND a "delivery" with a red, satin, florist-type bow, on a tall box, containing a "4 ft. hot pink, prelighted Christmas-tinsel tree" ... !?!
I honestly haven't "a clue' from whom this may be! What a genuine surprise, delight, and a GREAT GIGGLE!! I have by now phoned 4 friends, both local & long distance ... yet each and all have said, "Nope. T'wasn't me!" It's quite the delightful mystery to me this evening! Meanwhile, of course, I un-boxed it, and arranged/arrayed-the-branches, and PLUGGED IT IN! What a hoot and a delight it is, sitting outside my French doors! The incredible & most amazing thing is, that I in fact have a longtime PO BOX for my mailing address --- thus, *very few/if anyone* I know actually is aware of or even HAS my physical home address! Anyway ... just sharing the fun/delight of the surprise/mystery this evening! Best regards to each & all, Theta Z.
